Biography


- Jericho formed a team with Lance Storm in Calgary called Sudden Impact.
- Sudden Impact were recognized as the first CRMW (Canadian Rocky Mountain Wrestling) North American tag team champions on October 17, 1992.
- Jericho was spotted by Mexican promoter Carlos Elizondro while wrestling in the San Francisco area. Jericho became Corazon de Leon south of the border.
- Sudden Impact defeated the Brotherhood on January 23, 1993 to reclaim the CRMW North American tag team title in Calgary.
- On January 29, 1993, Jericho pinned Beef Wellington for the CRMW International/North American title.
- In April 1993, Jericho joined the EMLL promotion in Mexico, where he worked off and on for three years.
- On July 21, 1993, Jericho teamed with El Dandy to defeat El Texano and Silver King for the WWA Tag Team title.
- After a brief stint in Germany, Jericho returned to Mexico to capture the NWA Middleweight title from Mano Negra on December 7, 1993.
- On January 14, 1994, Jericho defeated Steve Rivers for the CRMW Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight title in Calgary.
- Jericho dropped the Canadian Mid Heavyweight title to former partner Lance Storm on February 4, 1994.

- On June 4, 1995, Jericho, as the Lionheart, pinned Gedo to win the WAR International Junior Heavyweight title in Tokyo, Japan.
- Lionheart pinned the Ultimo Dragon at WAR's 3rd Anniversary Show to retain the International Junior title on July 7, 1995.
- Jericho joined ECW in February 1996.
- On February 23, 1996, Jericho and Gedo defeated Storm and Yuji Yasuraoka for the WAR International Junior Tag Team title.
- Jericho defeated Pit Bull #2 at "Hardcore Heaven" on June 22, 1996, to capture the ECW Television title in Philadelphia, PA.
- Jericho lost his last ECW match to Too Cold Scorpio on August 3, 1996, and departed for WCW.

- Jericho defeated Rey Misterio Jr. for the Cruiserweight title at the 1998 "Souled Out." After the match, Jericho viciously crushed Rey's knee with a huge metal box.
- Now a heel, Jericho started calling his fans "Jerichaloholics." He also welcomed the fans to "Monday Night Jericho."
- Jericho faced the high flying Juventud Guerrera at "SuperBrawl VIII" in a mask v. title match. Jericho was successful, and forced "Air Juvi" to unmask.
- Dean Malenko was next up for Jericho, who he referred to as "Stinko" Malenko. Jericho defeated Malenko at the 1998 "Uncensored," which sent Dean home for a break.
- As a final dig at Malenko, Jericho claimed to be the man of 1,004 holds since Malenko is referred to by many as the man of 1,000 holds.
- Jericho starred in some hilarious clips as the "conspiracy victim," going all the way to Washington and the Library of Congress to use in his favor.
- Malenko and Jericho met again at the "Great American Bash," which saw Jericho win via disqualification. The next night on "Nitro," J.J. Dillion, head of the executive committee was forced to give Jericho his fourth Cruiserweight title.
- On the July 20, 1998 "Nitro" show, Jericho gave Malenko one final shot at the Cruiserweight title, which Jericho won via disqualification again.
- Jericho beat Stevie Ray on the August 10, 1998 "Nitro" show to win Booker T's World Television title.
- Raven became another Jericho victim at "Halloween Havoc."
- In a mockery of Goldberg, Jericho started coming to the ring with his own security. One of these "security" guys was an older man with a very large stomach. He would become Jericho's sidekick, Ralphus.
- Jericho faced Saturn at the 1999 "Souled Out" in a dress match, where the loser would have to wear a dress on future television shows. Heel referee Scott Dickinson used a fast three count and declared Jericho the winner.
- On June 30, 1999, the WWF web site reported that Jericho had signed with the World Wrestling Federation.
- Jericho made his much anticipated WWF debut on "Raw" on August 9, 1999, interrupting a promo The Rock was cutting.
- Jericho made his WWF pay-per-view debut at the 1999 Unforgiven. Y2J defeated X-Pac via disqualification.
- At Armageddon '99, Jericho defeated Chyna for the Intercontinental title in Sunrise, FL.
- Jericho defeated Chyna and Hardcore Holly in a triangle match at Royal Rumble 2000.
- Jericho won the European title in a triangle match with Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit at Wrestlemania 2000.
- Jericho defeated Benoit for the Intercontinental title on May 2, 2000 in Richmond, VA, during the "Smackdown" television taping.
- On July 30, 2000, Jericho married Jessica Lockhart in Winnipeg. Those in attendance included Billy Kidman, Cyrus, Disco Inferno, Lance Storm, Edge and Christian.
- At Unforgiven, Jericho defeated X-Pac.
- Jericho defeated X-Pac in a steel cage match at No Mercy in Albany, NY.
- On the October 29, 2000 edition of "Sunday Night HeAT," Jericho performed as Moongoose McQueen with his band Fozzie Osbourne.
- At Armageddon '00, Jericho defeated Kane in a "Last Man Standing" match.
- Jericho captured the Intercontinental title from Benoit at the 2001 Royal Rumble in a thrilling ladder match.
- At No Way Out in Las Vegas, Jericho successfully defended the IC title against X-Pac, Eddy Guerrero, and Benoit in a four corners match.
- At Wrestlemania XVII in Houston, TX, Jericho again successfully defended the IC title, this time against commissioner William Regal.
- Jericho defeated Regal at Insurrextion in London, England, in a Queen's Cup match.
- Two nights later on "Raw," Jericho beat Regal in a steel cage match in Long Island, NY.
- At Judgment Day 2001, Jericho and Benoit (who turned out to be Y2J's mystery partner) defeated Edge and Christian to win the tag team turmoil match.
- The next night on "Raw" in San Jose, CA, Jericho and Benoit defeated Steve Austin and Triple H for the WWF World Tag Team title.
- On the May 24, 2001 edition of "Smackdown," Jericho and Benoit successfully defended the WWF World Tag Team title against the Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian, and the Hardy Boyz in a TLC match.
- At Summerslam '01, Y2J defeated Rhyno. During the contest, Jericho kissed Stephanie McMahon.
- At No Mercy in St. Louis, MO, Jericho pinned The Rock to capture the WCW title.
- The next night on "Raw" in Kansas City, MO, Y2J and The Rock defeated the Dudley Boyz for the WWF World Tag Team title.
- At the Rebellion '01 PPV in Manchester, England, Jericho downed Kurt Angle.
- Jericho defeated The Rock for the WCW title at the Vengeance PPV in San Diego, CA. Afterwards, Jericho used outside interference from Mr. McMahon and Booker T to become the undisputed world champion.
- At the 2002 Royal Rumble, Jericho successfully defended the undisputed championship against The Rock.
- At No Way Out '02, Jericho retained the Undisputed title against Austin thanks to outside interference from the New World Order - Hall, Hogan, and Nash.
